I am honored to announce that I am running for Alvin ISD Board of Trustees - Position 3. It will be a privilege to serve a dynamic learning organization committed to excellence for each student and every program.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University and a Master Certification in Project Management from the University of California - Irvine. I am the Managing Director of an Engineering, IT Project Management Consulting Firm, specializing in oil, gas and energy projects.

I have resided in Pearland, Texas since 2006. I am the proud father of two daughters who have attended elementary, junior high and high school in Alvin ISD. I have been actively involved in Alvin ISD for many years: Parent Teacher Organization, Watch D.O.G.S (Dads of Great Students), STEM Academy Mentor, Speaker & Program Mentor for #CAP Program (College Admission Process), Athletic Booster Club - Inaugural Member, Youth Basketball Coach, Project Lead the Way - Engineering Partnership Team, and Career & Technical Education Advisory Member.

I have been recognized locally, regionally, and nationally for outstanding community leadership. I am currently the President and Board Chairman of the Houston Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. I have been an Undergraduate Advisor for past 10 years. I am also a Board Member of the Education & Charities Foundation of Houston, and active in Prince Hall Masonic lodges and my local church.

As an Alvin ISD Board of Trustee, I will focus on avenues to enhance academic performance, support teacher & staff professional growth, expand technology, ensure fiscal responsibility, encourage parental & community involvement, and employ innovative facility expansion.
